Good

Room was big with a comfortable bed and a great shower. It's a good base if you want quietness and visit places.

Receptionists were not very well organized and their languages level could be better. Cleaning Service made several mistakes (taking sheets and NOT replacing them), not cleaning dirty mugs and glasses, no refill of coffee and shower gel etc.

Provided a nice all inclusive hotel but had its flaws

The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were given early access to our lunch before we had checked in as well as after we’d checked out. There were plenty of sun beds for all guests as well.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. We were only provided with one pillow per person which was very thin. The food was also very average - plain and sometimes undercooked as what usually comes with batch cooking style. However there was a good variety of food options at each meal.

Outstanding hotel

Short communite from airport was great! Food and drink were excellent. The room and view was gorgeous. And a short walk to the centre. Supermarket next door was such a bonus too!

The entertainer throughout the days by the pool were really disruptive, we had come away for a quiet weekend and relaxing and he was over the top and so loud each day, we found it very unnecessary and I think the majority of the customers did too, as no one got involved. If we had known this, we wouldn't had booked.

Pretty impressive - pay a bit extra for Junior Suite with sea view. Well worth it.

Very good, younger adults might find the location too quiet and the entertainment in the evening is really for the much older crowd - one pleasant guy at the piano not really cutting it for the youngsters! But, room was fabulous with great view and breakfast excellent. Staff on reception very pleasant and a special mention goes to Fabian on reception who deserves a pay rise! Made you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive and big hotels don't always get that right - some are like an airport lounge with no atmosphere.........this isn't like that.

The evening entertainment for sure needs to be improved and too many 'phone calls received from reception disturbing you.......you even get one the day before you're leaving to ask you: "When are you going to the airport?" - I wasn't, as I was moving on to somewhere else for a few days! Those two things aside, really nice hotel. Very windy in El Medano, but the clue there is that they have windsurfing championships there now and again! Don't bother getting your hair done when there, you get a free blow dry every time you step outside the front doors!

Relaxing stay at the KN Arenas del Mar

The location of the hotel is excellent with a direct access to the "Playa de la Jaquita" beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sea view from my room (Junior suite) was wonderful. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay if you are not too sensitive to some noise (see below). The food choice offered at the buffet is great.

The fact that the rooms are arranged around an Atrium creates quite some noise when activities are ongoing in the Atrium (which however stop around11 p.m. in the evening). Furthermore, the rooms are not well isolated, so especially the cleaning of the rooms in the morning generates quite some noise. Addtionally breakfast stops already at 10 a.m. The gym on the top floor is not well equipped and not even provides a mat for stretching.

Excellent hotel in a quiet location with friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities. Lovely pool with amazing views of the ocean.
